Ricoh Caplio R6 Review at ePhotoZine

Ricoh Caplio R6 RedePhotoZine have reviewed the new 7.2 megapixel Ricoh Caplio R6 - an update to the unique Ricoh Caplio R5, the new R6 features a wide-angle 7.1x optical zoom lens, ISO upto 1600, image stabilisation, 1cm macro mode, an (ultra) compact metal body, updated features include Face Recognition focus, new zoom control, a new slim body (20.6mm vs 26mm), a 2.7" screen, etc. The camera will be available in Silver, Red (pictured above), or Black:

"There are some great features on the Caplio R6, starting off with the design which is stylish and modern. The zoom is great, really one of the fastest we've seen on a compact, and tied in to a 28mm wide angle setting, really gets the camera off to a flying start. The face recognition focus system works well, finding faces where ever they are on the screen, but the portrait mode, with its desire to make everything seem nice and fluffy, rather hammers the detail."
