Ricoh R8 Review at DigiCamReview

DigiCamReview have reviewed the new Ricoh Caplio R8 - a 10 megapixel update to the R7 - it features a newly designed body available in black or silver, a wide angle 7.1x optical zoom lens (28 - 200mm equivalent), image stabilisation, ISO 1600, 2.7" screen with 460k pixels, and a 1cm macro mode. The camera is available in Silver, Two-tone Silver and Black or Black for £235:

"Announced on the 19th of February 2008, the Ricoh R8 is Ricoh's latest pocket zoom digital camera - and features a wide angle 7.1x optical zoom, image stabilisation, a 2.7" screen, VGA video recording, and a 10 megapixel sensor. Ricoh Caplio R6 Hands On, Sample Photos

Lingspic managed to have a look at the new 7.2 megapixel Ricoh Caplio R6 and posted some sample photos on his blog. The R6 is an update to the unique Ricoh Caplio R5, the new R6 features a wide-angle 7.1x optical zoom lens, ISO upto 1600, image stabilisation, 1cm macro mode, an (ultra) compact metal body, updated features include Face Recognition focus, a new slim body (20.6mm vs 26mm), a 2.7" screen, etc. The camera will be available in Silver, Red, or Black.

Ricoh Caplio R5 ISO Noise Test Photos

I've posted full size images in the Ricoh Caplio R5 Sample Photo Gallery at DigiCamReview - I've also added some additional sample photos, one of them testing the camera's high speed continuous shooting mode. The continuous shooting mode shoots at roughly 2.5fps for upto 19 shots at the highest resolution and photo quality!
